Welcome to the Daria Werbowy Web Site. We've got all new pictures and videos, exclusive downloads, news and more. Daria Werbowy is a Canadian supermodel with Ukranian Descent. Her 5'11'' stature and doll face is a perfect match for many fashion and beauty product companies. Daria Werbowy was born on November 19, 1983, in Ukraine. When she was 3, Her parents moved to Mississauga, a suburb on the outskirts of Toronto, Canada. At age 14, Daria was a slim 5'11" giant , with narrow hips and sporting braces. She had never seriously thought of pursuing modeling, but found herself pushed into the business after meeting a schoolmate's mother who headed Toronto's Susan J. Model & Talent Management. After a year shooting for Susan J., Daria thought she could be doing more with another agency. She was correct: after switching over to Elmer Olsen Models, Daria really began to thrive. Within a few years, she had built one of the most enviable resumes in the modeling world. To date, her clients have included Yves Saint Laurent, Versace, Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Givenchy, Ralph Lauren, and Christian Dior. By 2001, Daria had appeared on the cover of French Canada's glossy fashion beacons, Elle Quebec and Clin d'Oeil. She went national with a shoot for Canada's Fashion magazine, and soon afterwards went global. Flare, W and Numéro all used Daria's mug to sell copies, as did the granddaddy of fashion mags, Vogue (Daria did the covers for the American, Italian, Japanese, Greek, and Portuguese editions). For ad campaigns, Daria lent her wintry eyes to Maxi, U2, Gucci, Chanel, and multiple Prada campaigns. One of her most renowned shoots was alongside Kate Moss and Gisele Bündchen in a campaign for Gloria Vanderbilt.
